A Long Island resident got “visibly upset” upon learning that the man to whom he had given $7,000 was failed Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad, prosecutors revealed yesterday.

Mohammad Younis blurted, “I paid the money but I am not guilty for the bomb,” after federal agents identified Shahzad, according to papers filed in Manhattan federal court.

Younis — charged with operating an unlicensed money-transfer business — wants a judge to toss his statements because he wasn’t read his Miranda rights. But prosecutors said that since he hadn’t been in custody, a warning was not necessary.
