Everybody was movin’ and groovin’ at Brooklyn’s “Love Shack.”

The B-52s, Atlanta’s 30-year-old alternative rock band, had fans dancing and cheering in the aisles when they played the Asser Levy Park bandstand last Thursday.

The quirky quartet rocked through all their hits during its free show that was part of Borough President Markowitz’s beloved and controversial Seaside Summer Concert Series, the largest free outdoor music series in New York.

But the B-52s weren’t the only thing to Go-GO see that night: opening for them was Belinda Carlisle, the Grammy-nominated singer who gained worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of The Go-Go’s, the early-80s all-girl new wave band who’s debut album, “Beauty and the Beat” reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts.

Carlisle went solo in 1985, releasing six albums to go with chart-topping hit “Heaven is a Place on Earth.”

Mark your calendar, as Aug. 26, the last seaside concert this year will feature Latino Music By the Sea, with Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz; Grupo Niche; Sa-Fire; Angel and Abby; Juddy Torres; and Noel.
