New York City wants to yank food and alcohol licenses from five of Manhattan’s hottest clubs, claiming they allow their guests to smoke inside.

The city’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene accused the A-list clubs of routinely flouting the law against indoor smoking.

A city judge on Wednesday adjourned cases against two of the clubs. Hearing dates for the other clubs were not immediately known.

A Health Department spokeswoman said undercover investigators found club patrons openly smoking. At one club, she said, investigators observed employees selling loose cigarettes.

The clubs in question are Chelsea’s M2 Ultra Lounge, which recently hosted Sean Combs’ bash for his son’s 16th birthday, LES’ burlesque club The Box, Flatiron’s The Imperial, Little Italy’s Southside and East Village’s Lit Lounge.
