The centerpiece of the new World Trade Center has reached a milestone — the 100th floor.

That means One World Trade Center is just four stories shy of passing the Empire State as the tallest building in New York City.

But there’s a twist: Floors 94 to 100 don’t really exist, skipped to make up for the building’s massive base.
