Bear, the NYPD dog whose teeth were kicked out by a deranged straphanger, was released from a Manhattan animal hospital yesterday — and got a hero’s welcome from his K-9 colleagues and the commissioner.

Bear will soon be back on the job after undergoing surgery for four fractured teeth and a sliced tongue.

His assailant kicked him in the face as police arrested her after breaking up a fight on June 18 at the 59th Street/Lexington Avenue subway station.

The heroic German shepherd was able to chomp down on the suspect’s foot and hold her until she was cuffed.
