Look for a wintry mishmash of snow, sleet and freezing rain early today — but the good news is that it’s expected to switch over to just rain and we’ll have a high of up to 45 degrees.

During today’s morning rush hour, “you’ll see snow, sleet and freezing rain, and that could make for some slick travel,” AccuWeather.com meteorologist Cory Mottice said yesterday.

“It will transition over to pure rain around noon” and start tapering off in the afternoon, he said.

There’s a chance of scattered rain showers tonight.

Tomorrow’s forecast calls for a windy day, with possible gusts of near 40 mph and a high of about 45 degrees.

On Thursday, it will start getting colder again, with a high of 35 degrees.

“Friday, it gets tricky,” Mottice said. “We’re watching for another storm that’s going to come across the country and may bring us snow.”
