A greedy thief tried to throw a woman onto the subway tracks in a violent subway robbery in the West Village, cops said.

Marry Ransom,36, noticed the victim’s money spilled onto the platform near the uptown E train stop near West Fourth around 12:30 p.m. on Dec 9, and swooped in to grab the cash, cops said.

She nearly shoved the woman on the tracks and threatened to punch her in the face, according to police. Ranson made off with $160.

When cops tried to arrest her a short time later, they found a $20 bill in her back pocket. Ransom was charged with robbery, resisting arrest, and criminal possession of stolen property, according to police.
