Surveillance video released by NYPD cops Wednesday shows a sluggish thief looting religious items from a Manhattan church.
The crook was caught on camera shuffling around St Francis Church on West 31st Street near Seventh Avenue just after 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Video shows the man poking around the church for several minutes before grabbing a chalice and song book from the alter, valued around $5,000.
He then fled onto the N train at the 34th street station, according to police.
The suspect is described as approximately 5′-foot-10, 180 pounds, bald, last seen wearing dark-colored clothes.
