A young man entered a Queens bank with a gun Tuesday, ordered customers to the floor then escaped with $50,000 he stole from a vault, police sources said.
The robbery took place shortly after 9 a.m. at Queens County Savings Bank at 61-49 188th Street.
The suspect, believed to be in his early 20s and wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, entered through the rear. He waved his silver gun at two customers, forcing them to lie down.
