An ousted museum director charged with looting a collection of Egyptian artifacts at Long Island University’s art museum surrendered yesterday, posted $100,000 bail and was released.
Barry Stern, 61, arrived in a silver BMW to face charges for trying to sell nine ancient artifacts through Christie’s — and abruptly elbowed a Post photographer outside the Central Islip courthouse.
“It was a very aggressive photographer,” said Stern’s lawyer, Mark Baker.
