It’s been a tough year for high-end watch owners in the Big Apple, with at least 132 cases of stolen or missing Rolexes alone, The Post has learned.

The top-shelf timepieces are being snatched in gunpoint stickups, store smash-and-grabs and by women who prey on men they pick up in hotel bars and strip clubs, sources said.

The most recent street heist came Sunday, when a bar-hopping Manhattan man was held up and robbed of his $26,000 Rolex along with $200 on Second Avenue at East Second Street.

“They’re using guns because no one’s stopping them,” a source said.

“It’s less likely that the victim’s going to fight back when they have a gun pointed at them. It’s a crime of opportunity.”

The admittedly drunken East Village victim told The Post, “I didn’t have all my mental [faculties]. I was probably a very easy target.”

The thefts were a topic of discussion at a recent police CompStat meeting after The Post exclusively reported how a Beverly Hills watch dealer was robbed of his limited-edition, $590,000 Swiss timepiece during a drunken night with two hookers.

“The number definitely jumps off the page,” a source said of the 132 incidents.

Sources said the overall number is actually much higher because the incidents mentioned at the CompStat meeting include only Rolexes.

Also, a single incident may include the theft of multiple watches at the same location — such as the Dec. 5 theft of three Rolexes from Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop MRKT pop-up store in Columbus Circle.

The victims include 31 men who brought women back to their hotel rooms after meeting them at bars, the sources said.
