Two thieves snatched a pricy European bicycle from a man as he came out of a Murray Hill apartment building, authorities said.
Police sketch of one of the suspects wanted in the bike theft.NYPDThe victim was exiting the building on East 33rd Street between Second and Third avenues at around 7 p.m. Saturday with his Focus Arriba hybrid bike.
That’s when the two thieves spotted the high-performance set of wheels, cops said.
The suspects demanded the cyclist turn over his fancy German-engineered sport bike, which sells for more than $1,000.
The thieves also snatched cash and an iPhone from the victim, cops said.
One suspect was described as being around 30 years old, standing about 5-foot-11 and weighing 220 pounds.
