A truck filled with more than $370,000 worth of television production equipment was broken into as it sat parked on a Queens street Sunday night, police said.

The equipment was to be used for a commercial shoot and included several cameras, lights, monitors and other items.

The rental truck was parked on Beach Channel Drive near Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway around 9 p.m. But when the driver returned just before midnight, he realized much of the equipment had been stolen and called police.

The items belonged to a Brooklyn-based production company called Joel Fitzpatrick Studios. A man who answered the phone at the company acknowledged the theft and said he didn’t want to talk about it.

Police are investigating the incident.
