He’s got a dismal 40 percent approval rating, but Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday he has absolutely no regrets about running for a third term.

“Zero,” the mayor declared on PBS’ Tavis Smiley show. “Not one.”

Bloomberg’s third term has been marked by his worst embarrassments as mayor — Cathie Black’s brief tenure as schools chancellor, the bungled Christmas snowstorm cleanup and the CityTime scandal.
