A Long Island man pulled over for a traffic violation was arrested when cops learned that his license had been suspended a whopping 64 times, police said.
Jaquan Joas, 27, was driving a 2018 Honda on State Avenue in Wyandanch around 3:30 p.m. Thursday when cops stopped him, according to Suffolk County Police. It’s unclear why police pulled Joas over.
But when cops checked Joas’ driver’s license, they discovered the slew of suspensions — and learned that he was not the registered owner of the vehicle, authorities said.
Joas, of North Amityville, was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He also had an outstanding parole warrant.
