A New York-based artist has become the Leonardo da Vinci of makeup — able to recreate well-known masterpieces on her face.

Lisa Houghton has won legions of followers on Instagram with such recreations as Leonardo’s “Mona Lisa”, the real version of which hangs in Pari’s Louvre Museum.

Houghton, 42, originally from Britain, also has garnered rave reviews by painting her face to resemble “The Birth of Venus” by Sandro Botticelli, Johannes Vermeer’s “Girl With a Pearl Earring,” and “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt.

Her latest work came last weekend, when she she did up her face as Banksy’s “Girl With a Balloon.”

“Wow, amazing!” Instagram user Morgan Hoffman commented online.

Houghton started out studying theater and ballet, but eventually went into television and wound up doing makeup, she said in an interview on models.com.

She has done makeup on photo shoots for celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Lily Aldridge and Amber Heard, according to Barcroft Media.
