A cold-hearted burglar stole a couple thousand dollars in donations at a Salvation Army in Midtown, police sources said Monday.
A Salvation Army worker told cops the crook broke into her office at 536 W. 46th St. and “used several tools” to crack the safe, sources said. She discovered the disheartening theft around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The burglar took $2,243.72, sources said.
