Thousands of Brooklyn residents were left without power Sunday, Con Edison said.
The bulk of the outages were in Dyker Heights and Borough Park. Con Ed said it was still trying to determine if the outages, which affected nearly 4,000 customers, were weather-related.
A spokesman for the company said that more than 3,600 of the outages were concentrated in a large swath of homes and businesses between 10th and 13th avenues.
The rest of the outages were scattered throughout the borough, according to Con Ed’s outage map.
Service was restored shortly after 5 p.m., Con Ed officials said, blaming the outages on a weather-related power line failure.
