Three people were slashed in two separate incidents early Monday, police sources said.
A worker at a Sunoco gas station in Staten Island was slashed on the chest when a thief walked into the Page Avenue location and demanded money around 1:20 a.m.
The suspect fled with $500 in cash after the attack.
Hours later, two more people were cut during a fight outside a Bronx nightclub, sources said.
The men, both 24, were hanging out in front of the El Conquistador Club on East Burnside Avenue when the attacker cut one of the men on the neck and face while the other man was cut on the back, arm and head.
Both men were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. No arrests have been made.
The violence comes one day after several more knife attacks on Sunday, including two during an Astoria rampage allegedly committed by 23-year-old James Patrick Dillon, who police said fatally stabbed one man, slashed a woman and set a homeless man on fire.
Sunday’s bloodshed started when a 23-year-old man was stabbed three times during a fight on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx around 3 a.m., sources said.
He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Around 4:30 a.m., a 25-year-old man was slashed in the face when two men blocked his path as he was walking through Harlem, sources said.
The victim was walking down Seventh Avenue near West 134th Street when the suspects approached and asked, “What are you looking at?” before cutting his face.
About 20 minutes later, a 29-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen by two men who tried to rob him near Barnes Avenue and 216th Street in the Bronx, sources said.
Later in the afternoon, a 23-year-old man was slashed on the hand when he got into a fight with his cousin’s boyfriend, who pulled out a box cutter around 4 p.m. on West 174th Street in the Bronx.
The victim received 15 stitches at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
A 14-year-old boy in Brooklyn was stabbed multiple times in the leg and shoulder when he got into a brawl with another unidentified teen on Argyle Road around 10:15 p.m., sources said.
