Three people were pulled out of the rubble of a New Jersey house that collapsed on them early Monday, according to reports.

One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries after the house collapsed about 7 a.m. on the 1800 block of South Broad Street in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, according to CBS Philly. The condition of the other two people was not immediately available.

There was no official word on what caused the collapse, but neighbors caught whiffs of natural gas in the area, ABC 7 reported. Crews from PSE&G shut off gas at the scene, which is standard procedure in these situations.

Neighbor James Feig, who arrived at the scene moments after the mishap, told NBC 10 that he saw a woman stuck in a pile of bricks and debris while on her phone with dispatchers. He said he comforted her until rescue crews set her free.

“I could see that she was physically OK but she was very much upset,” Feig said.

The woman was hospitalized with scrapes and cuts, according to Hamilton police, who said firefighters, rescue teams and search dogs worked to find the trapped victims.
