A group of hooligans tried to steal an ATM in Queens early Monday — and left behind a flatbed tow truck when their plans were foiled, cops said.
Several men attempted to pull out the machine from the front of the Chase Bank on Linden Boulevard near Francis Lewis Boulevard in Cambria Heights around 4 a.m., cops said.
When they were unable to get ahold of it, they took off in a yellow sedan and left behind the truck, which had the name of the Jamaica-based company EMS Towing on the front.
Cops could not immediately confirm whether the vehicles were stolen — but a dispatcher for the Jamaica-based company who only gave his first name, Kenny, said he believed the truck was stolen somewhere in Queens early Monday.
