Tiger Woods’ crumbling marriage was similar to the death of his father four years ago, he told the British press yesterday.
“There are times in one’s life when things get put into perspective,” he said a week before the British Open. “One being when my father passed, and another was what I’ve been going through lately.”
Woods, 34, who said “everything is working itself out” at home, was in Limerick, Ireland, after taking part in a pro-am.
Asked if he felt his marital misdemeanors had been worth it given his poor performance of late, he replied, “I think you are reading too deep into this.”
