The MSG channels went dark on Time Warner Cable at midnight last night, leaving fans who want to watch the Knicks, Rangers, Devils and Sabres gameless after negotiations to continue to broadcast the sports networks on the network stalled.
“All we have asked is for Time Warner Cable to value our programming in the same way as other TV providers,” said MSG Media president Michael Bair last night.
But Time Warner spokesman Alex Dudley said: “The decision to remove their programming from our lineup rests entirely with MSG.’’
