A Times Square Spider-Man who held a child captive over a $10 tip took a plea deal Tuesday in Manhattan court.
Jose Aguin, 29, of Passaic, NJ, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, which is a violation and not a crime, in exchange for a sentence of time served. He will have no criminal record.
He allegedly posed for a picture with the boy March 1. When the teen tried to walk away without paying a tip, Aguin allegedly grabbed him and wouldn’t let go until his dad forked over cash.
He was originally charged with fraudulent accosting and aggressive begging.
