A tip tiff ended at the Cipriani flagship Fifth Avenue restaurant with an arbitrator ruling that waiters can’t unilaterally shrink bussers’ share of nightly gratuities.

Waiters at the posh Harry Cipriani in The Sherry-Netherland hotel had cut the busboys’ tip share from roughly one-third to 15 percent in March.

Waiters complained that management put too many bussers on staff, reducing the servers’ haul, which averaged $350 to $450 a night.

But an arbitrator with Local 6 of the Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union ruled on Friday that the waiters were out of line and reinstated the old tip-sharing formula.

Cipriani declined to comment.
