A 3-year-old boy, severely allergic to dairy, died after he was fed a grilled cheese sandwich, a report said.

Elijah Silvera went into anaphylactic shock at the Seventh Avenue Center for Family Services in Harlem, the child’s loved ones told WCBS-TV.

The pre-school — which serves about 40 kids — was shut down on Wednesday night, a Department of Health rep said.

“There is nothing more important than the safety of our children and we are deeply saddened by this tragedy,” the health rep said. “We will get to the bottom of what happened here.”
