WEST ISLIP, N.Y. — Police say a 2-year-old girl is in critical condition after she was found unresponsive in a swimming pool of a Long Island home.

Suffolk County police said Chloe Acosta was discovered by her mother Saturday evening in the pool of the West Babylon house.

West Babylon fire department responded and performed CPR. The girl was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.
