A 2-year old girl survived a kidnapping ordeal in Brooklyn Sunday, after her mom left her in a car and it was stolen by a homeless woman, cops said.
The tyke’s terrifying joyride began around 1 p.m., when her 29-year-old mom went to get food at a store on Sutter Avenue in East New York, sources said.
Adrea Aronald, 52, allegedly got in the mom’s Honda Accord sedan and took off with the child strapped into a car seat, cops said.
The baby-bandit made it less than a block before hitting a 36-year old man on a bike at the intersection of Crescent Street and Sutter Avenue. She then lost control and crashed into multiple unoccupied cars in the vicinity of Belmont Avenue, where she was taken into custody, according to sources.
The child escaped the harrowing ordeal unscathed, while the 36-year old bicyclist suffered minor injuries – both were transported by paramedics to Brookdale Hospital, sources said.
Aronald is facing charges of kidnapping, grand larceny and reckless endangerment, cops said.
