Ex-state Sen. Tom Libous, convicted over the summer on corruption charges, on Wednesday had his sentencing pushed back by using his chemotherapy as an excuse, court papers show.

Libous — who was found guilty in July of lying about using his political muscle to score a job for his son — was originally set to be sentenced Oct. 30.

He will now be sentenced in November.
