A Brooklyn man accused of beating his girlfriend’s 4-year-old son to death felt he had to be the disciplinarian of the house, authorities said.

“He said the mother was too easy on the kid,” one source said of Steven Dadaille, 26, who is charged with the murder of Jayden Lenescar. The boy’s mom, Myrna Chen Phang, 25, is also charged in the death.

Gasps filled a Brooklyn courtroom yesterday as prosecutors detailed how the pair allegedly pummeled the boy with a belt buckle during a two-day beating at their Crown Heights apartment beginning Wednesday night.

Jayden’s body was so badly battered that it shut down Friday afternoon.

Phang and Dadaille were slapped with a litany of charges and held without bail until they get lawyers.

The suspects, who pointed the finger at each other when they were grilled at the 71st Precinct station house on Friday night, will get separate attorneys.

The case will go before a grand jury Friday.
