Two city robbery victims — including a tourist from Denmark walking on the Upper West Side — were shot over the weekend while standing up to violent muggers in separate incidents, police said.

The 31-year-old European visitor was approached by an armed robber at West 103rd Street and West End Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Sunday who demanded he turn over his cell phone, cops said.

The victim, who was on his way home from a party, refused to comply and attempted to walk away, authorities said.

“He just kept walking, and the guy shot him,” a police source said.

The tourist, who was born in Argentina and is a resident of Denmark, suffered a gunshot wound to the back, cops said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital in stable condition.

There were no immediate arrests, police said.

In an earlier incident in The Bronx, a 46-year-old man was approached by an armed robber in front of 928 Trinton Ave. in the Woodstock section around 11:40 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

The victim refused to turn over his wallet, phone and cash to the crook, and for that, he was shot in the leg, police said.

“He was approached by an unknown male who demanded property and shot him when he refused,” a police source told The Post.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

The gunman in that case also remains on the loose.

Robbery and other major crimes have increased by about 40% in the city recently, NYPD data show.

Also last week, a pair of muggers punched a man at Grand Central Station in Manhattan while robbing him at knifepoint.

In addition, a woman jumped over a counter at Burger King in the Bronx in an attempt to steal cash from the register.
