A tourist was stabbed in the leg in a random attack as he tied his shoe just outside of New York City’s bustling Bryant Park Monday evening, according to police and sources.

The 44-year-old man visiting from Canada was knifed in the left leg by a stranger near 40th Street and 6th Avenue at the southeast corner of the famed Midtown park around 5:30 p.m., police and sources said.

He was tying his shoe at the time and told investigators he never saw anyone attacking him, the sources said.

The tourist walked into a nearby store bleeding and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

No arrests had been made by Tuesday morning, cops said.

Bryant Park, which runs its wildly popular Winter Village over the holidays, is a major tourist attraction.
