Toyota engineers plan to examine the Prius in Westchester County that slammed into a stone wall after the driver said it accelerated uncontrollably.

The team will attempt today to determine what may have caused the 56-year-old housekeeper’s accident last week that left her slightly injured but totaled her boss’ 2005 Prius.

Two days ago, Toyota debunked the story of a San Diego man who claimed his 2008 Prius took him on a harrowing 94-mph ride when the accelerator stuck.
