Traffic is crawling along the northbound car lanes. The backup extends approximately 19 miles.

NJ Turnpike officials say a driver pulled over to help a disabled vehicle and that lead to a domino effect with several vehicles involved in a collision. One vehicle and its driver were pinned under a tractor-trailer.
