The mother of a trans child was filmed threatening to “hunt down and f–king kill” a woman who claimed that doctors pushed hormone-blocking drugs on her 13-year-old daughter.
The shocking outburst purportedly from Madeline Mann, who is employed by the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), was filmed by gender-critical activist Beth Bourne during the Democratic Party convention in the city last month.

X/@SFDamnPodcastAt the start of the video, Mann brands Bourne a “TERF,” or trans-exclusionary radical feminist, a slur used by some trans activists against their opponents.
After around two minutes of back-and-forth, during which Mann couldn’t answer the question on when she knew she was “cisgender” despite accepting her daughter’s trans self-diagnosis — she suddenly beckoned Bourne closer before threatening her on camera.

“I’m gonna hunt you down and f–king kill you,” Mann hisses in Bourne’s ear, hands visibly shaking, before storming away.
“Wait, you can’t say that, you can’t tell somebody you’re gonna kill them,” Bourne says as she follows Mann toward the exit.
Mann, who is carrying a placard with the words “patients before politics” in the pink and blue colors of the trans pride flag, appears calm at the start of the video as she smiles and responds to Bourne’s questions.
But when Bourne, whose ironic placard reads “More mastectomies for minors,” starts talking about phalloplasties — the medical procedure of making a penis for a transgender male — Mann snaps.
Neither Mann nor UCSF immediately responded to the California Post’s requests for comment.
Mann then hissed the death threat in Bourne’s ear.
Bourne, who UC Davis laid off last year, is a prominent activist against what she sees as trans indoctrination in California.
On Sept. 18, 2025, she stripped down to a bikini during a school board meeting in Davis, Yolo County, to protest the district’s transgender locker room policy, reported ABC10.
Students at Davis schools may choose facilities based on gender identity.
Police escorted Bourne, who is the chair of Yolo County’s Moms for Liberty chapter, from the chamber and later filed a report against her for disturbing a lawful public meeting.
On Oct. 11, 2025, the Davis Joint Unified School District filed a temporary restraining order against Bourne, the California Aggie reported.
Bourne, who has often publicly posted pictures of Pride flags in Davis classrooms, was accused of harassing teachers who support LGBTQ students.
