Relatives of 9/11 victims who can’t afford to travel to the city for the 10th anniversary of the attacks won’t have to miss the event, thanks to a program that will help pay their way here, officials announced yesterday.

Through the 9/11 Healing & Remembrance Project, the Mental Health Association of New York City and the United Way will cover family members’ travel and lodging costs if they can prove their need.

Applications are limited to one family member and available at http://www.9-11healingand- remembrance.org, then click the “travel and lodging” link.
