A white flag now flies over a strip of Brooklyn land three feet wide and 100 feet long that had prompted a property dispute between neighbors who made a federal case out of it.

One week after one of America’s longest-serving judges trekked out to a back yard to see the plot for himself, the owners of the two neighboring residences announced they had settled the case out of court.

Last Tuesday, Brooklyn federal Judge Jack Weinstein, 89, slated the case for trial.

Marsha Stickler claimed that the side-yard sliver in Midwood was hers, while next-door neighbors Hanoch and Eris Helavy, who paved over much of the grass and cut down a bush in 2007 when they purchased the property, disagreed.

But by midday yesterday, lawyers announced that the longtime feuding neighbors had reached a settlement.

They released no further details.
