A truck contracted by the city Department of Transportation exploded into flames early Wednesday in the Bronx — sparking a raging fire just underneath the elevated subway tracks, officials said.

The box truck, which was carrying flammable materials, caught fire around 5:30 a.m. on Dyre Avenue near Light Street in Eastchester, police and fire officials said.

Video from the scene shows the white truck, which was contracted for a DOT project, completely engulfed in flames. Another clip captures the heavy fire and smoke visible from the elevated No. 5 train station at Eastchester-Dyre Avenue.

The blaze sparked delays for trains entering and leaving the station.

The raging fire also damaged some parked cars nearby, cops said.

A dozen FDNY units, including 60 firefighters, responded to the inferno, the department said.

The blaze was declared under control about an hour after it broke out.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing, but police said no criminality is suspected.
