Waterbury, Conn. — Criminal charges are possible in the death of a man who tumbled from the back of a pickup truck and hit his head.

David Montambault, 41, died Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital, three days after the accident on North Walnut Street.

According to The Republican-American newspaper, police responding to a 911 call found him unconscious in the street.

The truck, which was being driven by a neighbor, has been seized as evidence. Investigators and prosecutors are to meet this week to discuss whether there was any criminality.
