A truck went up in flames on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The red and black truck caught fire shortly before 3:25 p.m. on the expressway near Fort Hamilton and Exit 18 in Bay Ridge, police and FDNY spokespersons said.

Video posted to Twitter by Citizen NYC shows flames and smoke billowing from bed of the truck as its stopped on the side of the roadway.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
