A truck struck two people in Midtown on Friday morning, trapping one woman under its tires, officials said.

The truck was apparently backing up at Sixth Avenue and W. 33rd Street when it hit the man and woman about 9:40 a.m.

They were taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
