Eight TSA agents in the New York area have the coronavirus, according to the agency — five at JFK, two at Newark and one at LaGuardia

Some were at work as recently as last week, according to an online database of where and when the officers last worked.

The agency revealed six new cases among its workforce nationwide on Monday morning.

Three of the new cases were screening officers at New York area airports: one at Newark who last reported to work at Terminal B on March 19 between 3:30 a.m. and midnight, a second at JFK who last worked the overnight shift at Terminal 1 on March 18, and a third who worked the afternoon shift at JFK Terminal 7 on March 15.

All but one of New York’s eight positive cases — a baggage handler at Newark — are screening officers.

The first screening officer to test positive last worked the afternoon shift in the JFK Terminal 4 baggage room on March 12, the TSA said.

Frontline TSA workers are required to wear nitrile gloves at all times, according to the agency’s website.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, screeners are now “allowed” to wear surgical masks and “urged” to wash their hands often, the agency told Fox News last week.
