A TSA screener at JFK Airport ended up on the other end of a security pat-down for allegedly nabbing a passenger’s bracelet.
Ashley Boyle, 26, was arrested for allegedly swiping a British woman’s “multicolored bracelet” as the passenger passed through a security checkpoint Friday morning, sources said on Sunday.
Ashley BoyleAirline passenger Linda Kathleen Casey, 38, removed the jewelry inside Terminal 4’s checkpoint lane No. 5 as she prepared to board a flight home to London, authorities said.
She left the area without the bracelet, and returned a short time later to discover the item gone.
Surveillance cameras show Boyle, 26, “taking possession” of the bracelet instead of taking it to lost and found, police said.
A search then uncovered the item in Boyle’s pocket.
She was charged with petit larceny, possession of stolen property and official misconduct.
