A shooting that left two men wounded on the New Jersey Turnpike yesterday does not appear to be random, according to State Police.

Sgt. Julian Castellanos said it appeared the men were shot before they pulled their SUV over in a construction zone in the southbound lanes near Interchange 6 in Burlington County at around 3:30 a.m. Their wounds do not appear to be life-threatening, Castellanos said.
