A Harlem man was caught jumping a subway turnstile while carrying a loaded gun — and he tried to convince cops he was headed to a US Open job fair that happened three weeks earlier.
Jamil Collier, 26, hopped a turnstile at the 116th Street station Friday morning while traveling with his mother, wife, sister and daughter, according to authorities.
Transit Bureau anti-terrorism cops witnessed the act and followed him onto a northbound 6 train at 10:40 a.m.

Collier claimed he was headed to the job fair for the U.S. Open, police said. But the fair actually took place July 7-8 this year.
Cops found a Ruger-Prescot .380 handgun in his shorts pocket. The gun had six rounds in the magazine.
He is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, theft of service, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Collier has 17 prior arrests, including assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest, among other charges.
