Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey could have landed the hottest ticket in town last night — a seat in Mayor Bloomberg’s Yankee Stadium box — when he and the mayor officially opened Twitter’s East Coast headquarters at 340 Madison Ave.

Instead, standing beside him, he tweeted, “Thanks, but got to get back @SF.”

New York has the most tweeters in the world, Bloomberg claimed as he welcomed the firm, which brought 40 engineers, designers and ad execs — and a promise to expand within months.
