These two chickens were plucked off a Midtown street last night by bemused cops.
“They were hiding in the bushes, sort of tangled up in the Christmas lights,” said Valon Rexhepi, a doorman at 139 W. 53d St.
The birds were taken to Animal Care and Control in the back seat of a police car.
“We’ve got them in handcuffs now and they won’t be causing any more trouble,” one cop joked.
