Two people were critically injured early Saturday in New Jersey when their car slammed into a parked Amazon Prime tractor trailer in a frightening crash along Route 17, reports said.

Rescue teams furiously worked to free the injured — the driver and front-seat passenger — from their crunched vehicle, which got wedged beneath the big rig parked on the side of the northbound highway in front of the 24-hour Suburban Diner in Paramus around 1:15 a.m., according to the Daily Voice.

The driver was in critical condition, while the front-seat passenger was listed as critical but stable, Bergen County Chief of Detectives Robert Anzilotti told outlet.

Two rear seat passengers reportedly had minor injuries.

Northbound Route 17 remained closed at Century Road until 7:30 a.m. as cops probed the smash-up, the report said.
