Two people were killed when their car overturned and struck a tree in Queens early Tuesday.

The 2010 Audi convertible was going west on the Long Island Expressway near 169th Street at 1 a.m. when it veered off the road.

“I heard a loud long screech, then a boom!” said Gianfranco Rodriguez, 17, who lives nearby, adding the car was “mangled.’’

The identities of the male driver and female passenger were withheld pending family notification.
