Two men were fatally shot in separate incidents in the East Village and upper Manhattan late Thursday and just after midnight in a bloody night of violence across the city, police said.

Police found Elliott Caldwell, 23, of East 12th Street, unconscious with a gunshot wound to his back in front of the Pedro Albizu Campos Plaza houses on East 12th Street near Avenue C at about 10:45 p.m.

Emergency responders rushed Caldwell to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition, but he later died from his injuries.

It’s unclear if the suspect, who fled and is still at large, was known to the victim.

Less than two hours later, a 41-year-old man identified as Dejon McInnis was gunned down on the Washington Heights street where he lived, police said.

McInnis was shot in the leg on West 157th Street near Amsterdam Avenue at around 12:02 a.m., cops said. He was rushed to Harlem Hospital where he later died, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Earlier Thursday night at about 7 p.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in the right side of the chest as he walked on Belmont Avenue near East Tremont Avenue in East Tremont, The Bronx.

The man, who told cops that he heard a shot and felt pain, walked into Bronx Lebanon Hospital, police said.

About 25 minutes later, two men knocked on the door of a Morningside Heights apartment on West 115th Street near Seventh Avenue.

When a 49-year-old man answered, he and another man, 59, were greeted with gunfire. The younger man was grazed on the head and the older was shot in the arm. Both suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
